Sydney United 58 FC can confirm the following player departures ahead of the 2026 season.
As always, we’d like to sincerely thank each player for their hard work, professionalism and commitment during their time at Edensor Park. It was a season defined by incredible highs and tough lows - and through it all, this playing group continued to represent our badge with pride.
What is becoming a proud recurrence for our club is that the vast majority of these players move on with silverware to their name - a reflection of the standards they helped uphold and the moments they helped deliver in red, white and blue.
Moving into new opportunities
We wish Prendergast all the best as he takes the next step with UNSW.
Milicevic departs the club and will be returning to Canberra, and we thank him for his contribution during his time in Sydney.
Pathway and academy progression
A special mention to our young talent, who received club scholarships in 2025 are taking the next step in their development:
Zuvela has moved on to an A-League academy
Pratezina has moved on to an A-League academy
Local moves and community connections
Orlovic will be joining our sister club Hurstville Zagreb, and we look forward to continuing that connection.
Shabow has signed with Bankstown City.
Makko has signed with SD Raiders.
Hatch will be joining Central Coast United, a club close to home where he’ll also be assisting with their development - we wish him every success in that next chapter.
Australian Championship squad updates
The following players were signed for the Australian Championship campaign, and we thank them for their efforts in that period:

Farewell to returning players
We also acknowledge two players who returned to the club in 2025 and will now move on again:

End of an important stint
Finally, we thank De Robillard, the Mauritius international, who departs after two seasons with the club. His contribution across that period is sincerely appreciated.
